Guaranteed Whitetail Hunting Preserve

The creation of the Wildstone Whitetail Preserve was born from a very special request from Silvertine’s annual Whitetail hunting guests, their recommendations, and our efforts have created the ultimate Whitetail Hunting area. Wildstone sits on the shores of Stony Lake, and is a 200 acre forested paradise for Whitetail hunters. It is a place where a serious trophy Whitetail hunters can focus on their pursuit of that monster buck, in total solitude and privacy, a place where no one is around for miles, complete peace and quiet. Just you, your guide, and loads of some of the largest PURE BLOOD Canadian whitetails on the planet. Wildstone Preserve is about 6 miles west of the Silvertine Property. Your hunt will start at the Silvertine Lodge, and then you and your guide will travel to Wildstone and spend the duration of the deer hunt there. Both these properties complement each other nicely and give the clients loads of elbow room, plus each one specializes in the species that best thrives in that particular environment. In this area we have erected numerous large elevated enclosed blinds, large enough for archery hunters and are fully heated in the winter. The Stony Lake Lodge sits on the preserve, with a spectacular vista of this huge lake and all its waterfowl and other bird life. You will step right out the door and be hunting, no traveling. The property itself is 100% forested with old growth Poplar, Birch, and spruce, with many deer loving thickets and large rolling hills. A typical hunt day will see you and your guide leaving the lodge well before daylight. Depending on the wind direction and trail camera activity, you will choose one of the many blinds for the morning hunt, possibly do some still hunting in the late morning, and return to the lodge for lunch. A different blind will often be chosen for the afternoon and evening hunt.

This property is as close to "Fair Chase" hunting as you will ever see in a high fenced environment. There is no "Ringer" or "Canned" areas within the perimeter fence where certain bucks of particular sizes are segregated as on some ranches. Every single deer is free roaming in habitat that is exactly what wild deer love. All our deer will grow old, and all the deer will live their entire lives, and many die naturally on this property, never to be killed by our guests. We do our best to harvest only 5 year old plus deer from the ranch, and our guests will buy one of our "size range" hunt packages. These policies and set up allows our guests to wait and select the best deer near the top end of their package purchased, and the cycle continues year after year, guest after guest. We utilize trail cameras extensively to monitor what deer are hitting what bait stations and when. Thus allowing us to not only know what's out there each year, but try to the best of our skills and knowledge gained (and luck, "deer willing"), put our guests in the right place at the right time to optimize their opportunity at a "Buck of a Lifetime".
